Santo Domingo, R.D. – Un lamentable suceso sacudió la capital la noche de este Lunes cuando el techo de la discoteca Je Set colapsó repentinamente durante una actividad social, provocando una tragedia de gran magnitud.
Según confirmó el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE), hasta el momento se registran 15 personas fallecidas y 101 trasladadas a diferentes centros de salud con diversas heridas.
Entre las víctimas se encuentra la exgobernadora de Montecristi, cuya identidad no ha sido revelada oficialmente. También se reporta que el exsenador Franklin Rodríguez y su asistente resultaron heridos, aunque están fuera de peligro, según informó el director del COE.
El ambiente en el lugar ha sido descrito como caótico y de profunda tristeza, mientras familiares y allegados de los afectados se congregan en las inmediaciones de los hospitales y del lugar del hecho.
Las autoridades han iniciado las investigaciones para determinar las causas del desplome y se espera un informe técnico en las próximas horas.
